Can I use hotspot with my Kolah eSIM?
Yes! All Kolah plans support hotspot and local tethering, allowing you to connect multiple devices using your eSIM’s data. Please keep in mind that data used across all devices is shared from your plan’s total data allowance.
Can I transfer my plan to another device?
Your Kolah eSIM plan comes with a unique QR code that can only be used once and is tied to the first device on which it is activated. Once installed, it cannot be transferred to another device, so please make sure to activate your eSIM on the device you intend to use.

Can I use my Kolah eSIM for calls and texts?
Kolah plans are data-only and do not include a local phone number for calls or SMS.
However, you can use internet-based apps like FaceTime, WhatsApp, Messenger or Telegram to make calls and send messages.
Can I use my eSIM in more than one destination?
Whether you can use your eSIM in multiple destinations depends on your plan. If you have our multi-country pack, your eSIM works across all included destinations without needing to reinstall. For standalone local plans, the eSIM only works within the chosen destination purchased.
How do I install my Kolah eSIM?

When is my plan activated?
Your plan is activated as soon as you connect to the local mobile network at your destination. Please keep in mind that your plan is counted by calendar days so if you activate it at 11:59 PM that still counts as one full day.
When does my plan expire?
All Kolah plans expire 3 months from the date of purchase so please make sure to activate your plan before the expiry date or the plan will become invalid and cannot be used.
When will I receive my eSIM?
We know travel can be last-minute and that’s why we aim to send your Kolah eSIM plan within 24 hours of your order. Please be sure to check your Spam, Junk or Promotions folder in case the message is filtered. The email will come from admin@kolah.com.au.
Which devices support eSIMs?
Your device must support eSIM technology to use an eSIM. Kolah eSIM is compatible with most modern smartphones and tablets. However, we recommend checking before purchasing.

What happens if I delete my eSIM after installation?
Deleting your eSIM after installation will permanently delete your plan. If this happens, you will need to purchase a new plan. To avoid this, please keep your eSIM active on your device.
Why am I seeing "Activating" or "Unable to Activate"?
If you notice "Activating" or "Unable to Activate", it’s likely because you installed the eSIM before arriving at your destination. Just wait until you arrive and your eSIM should activate automatically. If it doesn’t, try restarting your device or contacting our support team.
